Why I'm here

I blogged when ivy was little, but I fell out of the habit. Blogging, like most things in life, is a commitment, something you have to make yourself do until it becomes a habit, part of your routine. It is also a fantastic outlet, an easy way to let people know what is happening in your life. I need to use it as an outlet. On December 20, Ivy was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Our life had changed dramatically and I need a way to express that.
